Don’t think that’s the turbo body, but very nice nonetheless.

Turbo-looks are widebodies, that one just has a whale tail. Very nice nonetheless!

I thought the back looked wider when I was driving. My dad has an SC, believe me I have been forced to know all of that.

Yeah the front flares are not wide, I was watching its ass, I thought it was bigger.

What he means is the car in your pics is not a widebody. It’s a regular Carrera 3.2 with a whale tail. 911 SC and 911 Carrera 3.2 have somewhat of a flare to their rear fenders, but if you look at the front fenders, they’re not flared like the turbo, and the rear fenders aren’t nearly as wide.
Compare that to the turbo:

OMG why are you people explaining this to me, maybe I worded it wrong because I posted it sitting in traffic. My family has had Porsches (excluding me) since 356s, I know what a Carrera with a turbo tail add on is.

Wow. That blue plate. Probably late 1981 to mid 1982 and a lifelong California car. Very cool.

Because you said “turbo look,” which is an actual factory option that includes both a whale tail and fenders. Regular 911 + whale tail is not the same thing.

I have the original plate on my W123 as well as my 71 Z. The guy in the Porsche was old enough to be the original owner, it was showroom immaculate. He also was in traffic with my all the way back to Marin, so being from Marin also is a sign. I bet he goes to Hi Tec or S Car Go racing for services, they both do all the nice ones in Marin. My dad’s SC is white no tail, he hates tails.

Man, I read it wrong. Not 1B but 1H, so probably more like late 1983 or 1984. Still so cool...

Seeing him stopped so close to the car in front of him makes me irrationally angry.

It’s leading up to 19th Ave so it can slow down fast.
